Join SA Health and help transform healthcare delivery across regional South Australia. iCCnet improves access to healthcare by supporting clinicians and patients through initiatives such as cardiac services, Point of Care Testing (POCT), and virtual care. These programs enhance patient outcomes by enabling high-quality care to be delivered closer to home.

In this position, you will provide education, training, and technical expertise to ensure seamless integration of services into clinical practice. You will also contribute to a 24/7 after-hours technical support roster, support ongoing quality improvement initiatives, and undertake occasional travel as required.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Provide technical support, education, and training to healthcare professionals, ensuring effective service delivery across regional and virtual settings.
  • Support and promote Point of Care Testing (PoCT) services, including quality assurance, protocol development, and standardisation across sites.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and manage equipment and remote patient monitoring systems, including reviewing results and escalating care when required.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to improve patient outcomes, ensuring equitable access to healthcare for rural communities.
  • Maintain accurate records, analyse program data, and contribute to reporting, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a collaborative team approach, participate in professional development, and represent the service through education, stakeholder engagement, and professional forums.
