This pivotal role sits at the intersection of mental health and the justice system, where your expertise will directly support the South Australian Courts and contribute to safe, timely and legally compliant outcomes.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Forensic Court Service, you will provide high‑level administrative coordination to ensure the Forensic Mental Health Service (FMHS) responds accurately, efficiently and within strict timeframes to court‑ordered psychiatric and psychological assessment requests. Your work will underpin the credibility, efficiency and integrity of the Court Assessment Service.

You will ensure all assessments meet legislative and court requirements, maintain secure records and databases, and actively monitor the progress and quality of specialist reports. • effective communication with medical and legal professionals and senior staff across multiple agencies
  • a demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information
  • experience in clerical or secretarial roles within a health environment
  • confidence working within a networked Windows‑based computing environment
