Join Our Caring Team as a Nurse Consultant in Aged Care!

At Peterborough Soldiers Memorial Hospital, we’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Consultant to lead clinical nursing services in our Aged Care sector. If you're a Registered Nurse with a passion for quality care and leadership, we want you on our team!

As a Nurse Consultant, you’ll deliver expert clinical care, lead nursing teams, and contribute to the development of innovative care programs. With a high degree of autonomy, you’ll work across multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and implement evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical care and ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide expert advice, mentorship, and leadership to nursing staff.
• Manage complex cases and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and evaluate nursing practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Foster professional development through education and training.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with health service standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with minimum 3 years post-registration experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in team management and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Knowledge of Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
