  • Full Time and Part Time available, Multiple temporary (fixed term) contracts for up to 12 months.

About the role

The Enrolled Nurse deliver safe, person-centred care under Registered Nurse supervision, following standards and protocols. The Enrolled Nurse assists with procedures, provides information within scope, supports care delivery, and helps manage challenging behaviours while remaining accountable for their practice.

The Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred care by assessing, planning, and coordinating services. The Registered Nurse supervises staff, supports learning, communicates care changes, participates in audits, and collaborates with teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key duties of the role

Enrolled Nurse:

  • Implement appropriate service delivery options under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Assist with general and specialised procedures.
  • Provide safe clinical practice through the application of professional standards and adherence to policies, protocols and procedures and working within a model of client centred care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Registered Nurse:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and coordinates appropriate service delivery options.
  • Regularly communicate changes in care planning to appropriate staff.
  • Review the assessment and decisions of Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and students.
  • Support less experienced registered nurses.
  • Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines.

Skills and Experience

  • Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate; OR
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service to consumers/clients.
