WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? 

A senior leadership opportunity as an Emergency Department - Nurse Unit Manager at Mt Barker Hospital to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, drive high-quality, evidence-based patient care, and shape a positive workplace culture while ensuring safe, efficient service delivery. The position offers accountability with meaningful influence over clinical outcomes, workforce management, and quality improvement initiatives, alongside professional development, involvement in service-wide change, and the ability to make a tangible impact on patient care and community health outcomes.

  • A confident and experienced Registered Nurse leader with strong clinical expertise in emergency or acute care settings
  • A collaborative people manager who can engage, mentor, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team
  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to lead change, manage resources, and improve models of care
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across diverse groups
  • A quality and safety focused professional committed to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and positive patient outcomes
