About the Role

Join our team as a Casual Clinical Coder and turn clinical data into meaningful insight. You’ll manage complex coding, support accurate funding outcomes and build capability across the service. Enjoy flexible work while contributing to quality care and system performance.

Duties
• Code complex episodes using ICD 10 AM and ACHI
• Assign accurate AR DRGs to support funding
• Review records and ensure data quality
• Contribute to team output and service goals

About You

You’re a detail-focused coder who thrives on accuracy and complexity. You bring strong clinical coding expertise, work well autonomously and with others, and take pride in delivering high-quality data.

  • Diploma of Clinical Coding or equivalent
  • Advanced ICD 10 AM and ACHI coding expertise
  • Acute hospital coding experience with complex cases
  • Deliver accurate output with strong attention to detail
  • Manage workload, meet deadlines and support team success
  • Fully remote casual position at tertiary public health network.
  • Minimum 5 years experience (post training) at a tertiary hospital required
