About the Role

Join our Nursing Education team as a Clinical Nurse Educator and as they grow in practice. You’ll build capability, guide transitions to professional nursing, and work closely with education and ward teams to deliver confident, safe care. You will play an important role in delivering education, mentorship and professional guidance within a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.

In this role, you will work closely with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and multidisciplinary teams to support learning, professional growth and promote safe clinical practice. You will collaborate with Nurse Educators and ward teams to strengthen staff capability, promote evidence based care and contribute to a positive learning culture across the service.

This role operates across a 5 day roster and may work across all CALHN sites including the RAH, TQEH, Hampstead and Repat.

About You

You’re a confident Registered Nurse who enjoys guiding others and sharing knowledge. You bring strong clinical insight, clear communication and a genuine interest in helping nurses succeed in practice.

• AHPRA registration and current practising certificate
• Minimum 3 years post registration experience in acute care nursing practice
• Support and guide new and junior nursing staff
• Clear written and verbal communication with a team focus
• Manage priorities and work well with minimal supervision
