About the Role

As a Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/M1), you will provide safe and effective nursing and/or midwifery care, developing from a novice to a proficient practitioner through experience and ongoing professional development.

You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients across a variety of clinical areas and contributing to positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred nursing and/or midwifery care
  • Assess, plan and coordinate individual care and service delivery
  • Support team coordination and patient flow as required
  • Provide health education to patients, families and carers
  • Support students, graduates and less experienced staff
  • Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice

Who We’re Looking For

You are a motivated clinician eager to build your skills in a rural setting.

You will bring:

  • Registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Strong communication, problem solving and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Commitment to person-centred and culturally safe care
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing and/or midwifery practice
