  • Salary  MDP-2   $99,707 - $158,523 p.a. (pro rata) + super + salary packaging
  • Two temporary part-time positions working 19 hours per week 

Duration of the training program: up to 30/6/30

Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement

At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.

About the Role

Step into a hands-on Cardiology Interventional Fellow role where you’ll build advanced procedural skills, support patient care and shape clinical research. Work across leading hospitals, collaborate with expert teams and help deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.

• Perform coronary angiography and angioplasty procedures
• Assist structural heart disease interventions
• Deliver ongoing patient care across cardiology services
• Support and guide trainee medical officers
• Contribute to clinical research projects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiology teams
• Liaise with community providers and training bodies
• Use equipment and resources in a cost-efficient way

About You

You’re a capable, curious clinician ready to grow in interventional cardiology and contribute to safe, high-quality care.

• Hold MBBS or equivalent; AHPRA registration eligible
• Maintain current Basic Life Support certification
• Show strong clinical judgement and patient focus
• Communicate clearly; work well in team settings
• Manage time, prioritise tasks and adapt to change
