About the role: 

The HR Administration Officer plays a key role in delivering efficient and effective HR data support across the organisation, with a strong focus on position management and HR systems administration. Working as part of a collaborative team, the role supports workforce position management, maintains accurate and confidential personnel records, and provides guidance to colleagues and managers on process related matters. The position also contributes to workforce projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and HR audit activities, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks. A commitment to high-quality service delivery and supporting a positive team culture is essential.

About you:

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in HR systems (ideally CHRIS21), with the ability to manage and present data clearly and maintain confidential information.
  • Sound understanding of HR practices, compliance requirements, and workplace principles including WHS, diversity, and quality management, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
