About the Role:

An exciting leadership opportunity is available within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network for an experienced and motivated nurse ready to take the next step as Associate Nurse Unit Manager in our Neurology/Stroke Unit. This role offers a dynamic mix of hands‑on clinical leadership, professional development and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes at a critical point in their care and recovery.

Working in close partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a key role in driving high‑quality, evidence‑based care while providing visible, supportive leadership. You will help coordinate day‑to‑day clinical operations, guide staff performance and ensure care delivery remains safe, efficient and person‑centred.

You will thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment where your leadership directly influences team engagement and patient experience. From mentoring and developing staff, to supporting daily workflows and working with multidisciplinary colleagues, you will help foster a service defined by excellence, safety and teamwork.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
