Overview:

The System Interface Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing state-wide strategic projects and reform initiatives that support the interface between acute health care to community including aged care.  They will be required to:

  • Coordinate projects in relation to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Aged Care and other relevant issues with the Local Health Networks (LHNs).
  • Provide high level advice, leadership, management and knowledge on the NDIS, and aged care reform for the Department for Health and Wellbeing and SA Government agencies as required.
  • Significantly contribute to the Integrated Care Systems Directorate leadership team

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

 

Desirable characteristics

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in a health or business-related discipline or project management
  • Knowledge of emerging directions within health services in South Australian, nationally and internationally
  • Sound knowledge of Commonwealth Agreements, SA Health Strategic Directions, and related strategic programs and projects
