About the role

Join SAMI as an Advanced Clinical Educator Ultrasound and help shape the future of paediatric ultrasound practice through education, leadership and innovation. Based within a specialised clinical environment, you will lead comprehensive training programs, support professional growth and promote high quality, evidence based care across SAMI sites.

In this role, you will coordinate ultrasound education and development activities for sonographers, support orientation and return to practice programs and contribute to ongoing workforce capability. You will also support paediatric ultrasound training for Radiology Registrars and medical staff, collaborate with education providers and help drive consistency, quality and advancement in ultrasound practice and technology across the service.

About You

You are an experienced and passionate Sonographer who brings advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership and a commitment to education and high quality patient care within a specialised ultrasound environment.

• ASAR accredited Sonographer with postgraduate qualification
• Perform complex ultrasound procedures with confidence
• Lead education, training and workforce development
• Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
• Support quality improvement and safe imaging practice
