About You:

You have a passion for data and love working collaboratively with team members and customers to understand requirements enabling you to provide technical consultancy when developing solution recommendations.  You will also be able to bring your knowledge and understanding of data governance and data security requirements to ensure the CANDI Platform is developed to agreed standards, the data architecture and model design.

About Us:

The SACCaN Program is a statewide transformative program which includes implementing a Data and Intelligence platform integrating cancer related data from public and private providers into a unified enterprise analytics and decision support ecosystem. This platform enables real time insight generation, operational improvement, and evidence based clinical and service level decision making to support the South Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network mission.

The position operates in a complex program management and technical environment strongly customer focussed including consumers, clinicians, the Minister, operational managers and executives to facilitate data driven decisions which ensure appropriate, safe and quality services for patients to enable comprehensive cancer care.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

 

Desirable Characteristics

  • Degree in computer science or similar.
  • Qualifications in data warehousing architecture design.
