About the Role

Join CALHN Biomedical Engineering as a Senior Technician and help ensure the safety, effectiveness and reliability of vital medical technology used in patient care. You will support the Technical Manager, maintain advanced biomedical systems and contribute to critical services that directly impact clinical outcomes.

• Support management of specialised technical services
• Maintain and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment
• Provide expert advice to clinical and technical teams
• Support safe and compliant technology use
• Guide staff, students and trainees where required
• Contribute to emerging technology and service improvement

About You

You are a capable biomedical technician who brings strong technical skills, sound judgement and a commitment to safe and reliable healthcare technology services.

• Diploma in a relevant technical discipline
• Maintain and troubleshoot complex medical equipment
• Communicate well with technical and clinical teams
• Resolve issues and manage priorities under pressure
• Support safe and compliant biomedical services
