• MDP2 $99,707 to $158,523 p.a. + super + salary packaging 
• Full time 12-month contract available

Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement).  At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role

Join our Neurology team as a Stroke Fellow and help deliver high quality care for patients within a leading acute stroke service. You will manage complex stroke presentations, contribute to research and build advanced skills across stroke and neurology care.

• Manage acute stroke and neurology patient care
• Assess eligibility for perfusion therapies
• Support telestroke consultations across regional sites
• Attend acute TIA assessment clinics
• Contribute to research and clinical trials
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

About You

You are a motivated medical professional who delivers compassionate patient care and works confidently within a fast paced multidisciplinary stroke and neurology environment.

• MBBS or equivalent with Medical Board registration
• Part 1 FRACP completed
• Deliver safe care and sound clinical decision making
• Communicate well with patients, families and teams
• Work calmly under pressure in acute care settings
