Overview:

The Procurement and Business Manager is responsible for supporting the effective procurement, contract management, and financial administration of the SA Health Library Service (SAHLS) knowledge and information resources. The role provides strategic and operational support to the SAHLS Knowledge Manager to ensure that library resources are procured, renewed, and managed in accordance with relevant procurement frameworks, government policies, and organisational procedures.

This position facilitates and supports SAHLS procurement processes, contract and licence management, vendor relationships, financial processing of resource payments (including complex and foreign currency transactions), and the preparation of high-level briefs and responses for the Minister for Health and Wellbeing and senior executives. The Procurement and Business Manager ensure compliance, sound governance, and accurate record-keeping across SAHLS procurements, contracts and financial activities pertaining to the purchase and renewal of library knowledge and information resources.

  • Familiarity with SA Government procurement policies and frameworks is a key requirement for this position. While the position will be primarily located at Citi Centre, Hindmarsh Square, there is flexibility of work location across a number of SA Health library sites, and flexible work arrangements are available.

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
