About the Role

Join a fast paced Coronary Care unit where nursing skill makes a real impact. You’ll deliver patient centred cardiac care, build strong clinical skills and maintain safe, responsive care across acute pathways.

Duties
• Deliver safe, high acuity cardiac nursing care
• Support patient choice and shared care plans
• Monitor, assess and respond to clinical change
• Use ALS skills in a high acuity setting
• Support students and junior staff
• Work closely with cardiology teams

About You

You’re a registered nurse who brings calm judgement, clear communication and a genuine focus on patient centred care in a busy acute setting.

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration or eligibility
• Clinical skill aligned to contemporary nursing standards
• Clear communicator who works well in team settings
• Ability to prioritise and adapt in a dynamic unit
• Sound knowledge of safety, quality and care frameworks

Desirable attributes and skills:

  • Holds or currently studying a Cardiac Nursing Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate.
  • ECG and cardiac rhythm interpretation ability.
  • Advanced Life Support Accredited
  • Previous Acute Cardiology practice experience.
