About the Role

Lead the scientific and technical delivery of CALHN’s Sleep Disorders Service, supporting high-quality diagnostic care. You’ll guide teams, oversee quality and accreditation, and help shape innovative sleep services across metropolitan, regional and remote settings.

• Lead scientific and technical staff across sleep services
• Manage workloads, resources and staff rosters
• Maintain quality systems and accreditation standards
• Shape policies, procedures and service priorities
• Perform and analyse complex diagnostic sleep studies
• Develop new services and improved testing protocols
• Support staff training, supervision and development
• Guide diagnostic practice across satellite services
• Drive research, clinical trials and scientific innovation

About You

You are an accomplished Medical Scientist who combines sleep science expertise with strong leadership, analytical thinking and a commitment to quality diagnostic services.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a relevant Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification
• Bring expertise in sleep physiology and diagnostic sleep testing
• Lead staff, complex services and multidisciplinary projects
• Apply experience in healthcare research and quality management
• Demonstrate strong analytical, strategic and communication skills
