Senior Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Join SA Health at Modbury Hospital and make a real difference in patients' recovery journeys. We are seeking experienced Senior Occupational Therapists to lead our inpatient rehabilitation team in Adelaide's northern suburbs.
About the Opportunity:
The ongoing positions within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network offer the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team supporting patients through their rehabilitation process. You will provide clinical leadership while delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to help patients regain independence and return to their communities.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals
- Participate in discharge planning and community transition support
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research activities
About You:
In the Senior Occupational Therapist role, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships. An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential for success in this position.

NALHN provides a range of hospital (inpatient), outpatient, community and home-based services across multiple sites in Adelaide’s north and north-eastern suburbs, including Aboriginal health, mental health, and GP services.
Lyell McEwin Hospital – the major hospital in northern Adelaide for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetric, paediatrics and outpatient services.
