  • Salary: $72,753 – $77, 536 p.a (pro rata) + Super + Leave Loading + Benefits

  • Part-Time – 30 hours/4 days per week, Temporary until November 2026 

 

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? 

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play an important hands-on role supporting Allied Health Professionals in delivering high-quality care to patients with diverse and complex needs. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will assist with therapy programs, patient preparation and mobility, group education sessions, equipment maintenance and patient support activities that promote comfort, dignity and positive health outcomes. 

This dynamic role also contributes to the smooth operation of allied health services through accurate documentation, database management, workplace safety practices and continuous improvement activities. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team culture, while also assisting with the supervision and training of other Allied Health Assistants and students, helping to strengthen service capability and patient care delivery.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Support Allied Health Professionals in delivering therapy programs, patient interventions and specialised treatments for patients with diverse and complex needs  

  • Assist patients with preparation, transport, mobility and personal care before, during and after therapy sessions to ensure comfort, dignity and safety  

  • Monitor patient responses to therapy, maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with therapy-related administration and database management  

  • Lead or support group-based therapy and education sessions, while assisting with the supervision and training of Allied Health Assistants and students  

  • Contribute to a safe, collaborative and high-performing workplace by following WHS requirements, maintaining confidentiality and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
