  • AHP2  $94,997 to $110,052 p.a. (pro rata) + super + salary packaging
  • Ongoing Full Time and Part Time positions available

About the Role

If you are a social worker passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of people throughout their rehabilitation and recovery journey, we would love for you to join our team! The Social workers across DRS and RITH are a key part of the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team and focus on achieving goals that optimise outcomes for individuals and their families. The role has the autonomy to tailor social work intervention plans to ensure a holistic and client-centred approach to recovery.

The successful applicant will be a motivated and compassionate social worker who thrives within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will be supported by experienced Senior Social Workers, connected with enthusiastic and like-minded peers, and encouraged to pursue ongoing professional development opportunities. This role provides the opportunity to:

  • Deliver counselling and psychosocial support
  • Support discharge planning and facilitate community referrals
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Support and guide students throughout their learning journey
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and person-centred care planning

About You

You are a compassionate and skilled Social Worker who delivers person centred care and supports positive outcomes for patients and families.

  • Support diverse clients with empathy and professionalism
  • Social Work degree with AASW membership eligibility
  • Deliver assessment, counselling and therapeutic support
  • Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
