About the Opportunity

As a Medical Practitioner, you will contribute to delivering high standard clinical services to our diverse patient community. Working across designated rotations, you will provide comprehensive clinical care while reporting to senior clinicians for day-to-day matters and the Director Division of Emergency & Acute Medical Services for professional and administrative oversight.

  • Registration with AHPRA to work at a PGY2 + level

  1. Plan and complete part-time study at postgraduate level
  2. Demonstrate confidence in Leadership in acute clinical settings
  3. Confidently demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning skills for healthcare environments
  4. Apply advanced clinical reasoning in clinical practice
  5. Complete clinical examination and diagnostics in advanced practice
  6. Achieve specialisation in Critical Care & Retrieval
  7. Confidently optimise perfusion physiology in Critical Care and Respiratory emergencies
  8. Acquire skills in Pharmacology and Medication Management

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:

  • DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check 
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
