About the role:  

The Workforce Projects Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating and delivering workforce projects and initiatives across the Workforce Services portfolio. The position supports organisational priorities through project coordination, workforce data analysis, process improvement initiatives, change management activities, and the preparation of reports and briefs. Working closely with Workforce Strategy and Systems, HR Business Partnership, and Industrial Relations teams, the role ensures projects are delivered effectively, on time, and in alignment with SALHN’s strategic objectives.

 Duties for the role will include:  

  • Coordinate and action project management activities including developing project briefs, plans and milestones to deliver strategic workforce outcomes
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across SALHN, SA Health and government agencies to drive organisational objectives and promote positive strategic direction
  • Champion change management initiatives by researching best practices, implementing new systems and acting as a change champion to embed cultural transformation across the organisation
  • Drive continuous improvement by challenging existing practices, developing contemporary human resource approaches and ensuring effective systems support quality improvement and compliance standards

About you:  

  • Bring proven experience working with executives and senior management in health environments, with demonstrated ability to provide high-level advice on complex and sensitive matters while effectively engaging diverse stakeholders
  • Possess highly developed communication, negotiation and analytical skills with public sector HR expertise, enabling you to identify strategic issues and develop and action creative solutions within government frameworks
  • Excel in strategic thinking and operational planning with ability to identify workforce challenges and develop innovative solutions that align with organisational objectives
