About the role

Experienced in business operations, strategic planning, HR and financial management, with a strong focus on delivering consistent, high-quality business support services. Skilled in developing systems, monitoring performance, and supporting administrative teams to deliver effective multidisciplinary care.

Key duties of the role

  • Lead and manage financial and business operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, variance analysis, and strategic reporting.
  • Develop and implement business plans, systems, contracts, and improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and service delivery.
  • Drive workforce planning, HR strategy, and staff capability development through training, supervision, and ongoing support.
  • Prepare executive briefings, funding submissions, and business proposals while coordinating project development and implementation.
  • Foster and promote a positive, customer-focused and culturally responsive workplace culture through leadership, quality improvement, and change management.

Skills and Experience

  • An appropriate Degree or tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related financial/business management field.
  • Demonstrated experience in business planning and financial management, budgeting, the analysis of financial and activity reports, expenditure control and the assessment and management of risk.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to foster good working relationships both internally and externally, and provide high level timely and strategic advice, at an organisational and systems level.
