About the role

Join our laboratory team as a Technical Officer (TGO1) and help support the delivery of high quality technical and diagnostic services within a collaborative healthcare environment. You will apply your technical skills and knowledge across a range of laboratory activities that contribute to safe, accurate and efficient service delivery.

In this role, you will perform technical duties using established practices and procedures while working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. This is a multi skilled Technical Officer role at TGO1 classification, with core laboratory knowledge desirable. You will also contribute to technical project work, support continuous improvement activities and help maintain high standards of quality, safety and operational performance across the laboratory environment. Participation in a 24/7 roster is required.

You are a motivated and reliable Technical Officer who enjoys working in a laboratory environment and delivering accurate, high quality technical support services.

• Relevant diploma or advanced diploma qualification
• Work effectively within collaborative team environments
• Prioritise workloads and meet timelines confidently
• Use laboratory systems and software accurately
