  • The Queen Elizabeth & Royal Adelaide Hospitals, Endocrine & Metabolic Unit
  • MDP2 $99,707 to $158,523 p.a. + super + salary packaging 
  • Multiple 6-month & 12-month, full-time training placements available, start dates from 01/02/2027
  • Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement).  At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role

Join a collaborative Endocrine and Metabolic Medicine team where you will build specialist skills across inpatient and ambulatory care, support complex patient management and contribute to research, teaching and service excellence. This role offers strong mentorship, varied clinical exposure and the opportunity to make a genuine impact across multiple CALHN sites.

  • Deliver high quality endocrine and metabolic care across inpatient and ambulatory settings
  • Assess, diagnose and manage patients under specialist supervision
  • Support medical students and junior doctors through teaching and clinical guidance
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Contribute to research, quality improvement and education activities
  • Build strong links with community health providers and training organisations
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and support safe, patient centred care

About You

You are a motivated trainee with a passion for Endocrine and Metabolic Medicine and a commitment to safe, high quality patient care. You thrive in collaborative clinical environments, value feedback and bring strong communication and organisational skills to a busy healthcare setting.

  • MBBS or equivalent with General Registration
  • Passed FRACP Part I written and clinical exams
  • Deliver safe, patient centred clinical care
  • Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt well, manage priorities and value feedback
