About the Role
Kickstart or elevate your Speech Pathology career in a supportive and collaborative team making a meaningful difference across the Limestone Coast community.
As a Rural Generalist Speech Pathologist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of services appropriate to the needs of the local community. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, intervention, therapy, education and evaluation services across a variety of settings including hospital, community, residential care, outreach and telehealth services.
The role supports a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment and rehabilitative approaches, while promoting client-centred care and improved health outcomes. Whether you are a new graduate or experienced clinician, you will be supported through mentorship, professional development opportunities, clinical supervision and access to innovative technologies within a welcoming rural health environment.

You are a passionate and motivated Speech Pathologist committed to delivering high-quality, culturally safe and client-centred care. To succeed in the Rural Generalist Speech Pathologist role, you will:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Speech Pathology and be eligible for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills within multidisciplinary environments.
- Deliver high-quality assessment, intervention and therapy services across a range of clinical settings.
- Show commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and the ability to manage diverse clinical caseloads within a rural health setting.

- A current driver’s licence and willingness to drive on country roads is essential.
- Intra and interstate travel may be required.
