Join our Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care Team

Be part of exciting projects that will shape the services for the Southern Community. A short-term opportunity exists to be a part of the Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care Team as a Project Manager. 

About the role: 

Lead the implementation of multiple projects with a key portfolio focus leading casemix, activity based funding and care type maximisation and implementation across all services within the division.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Plan, implement, and monitor project activities to ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, risk assessments, and communication strategies
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, clinical teams, and management
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to senior management
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners to secure necessary resources
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle

About you:

Please refer to each individual role description attached below to determine where your experience and classification aligns. 

  • Appropriate qualification in an Allied Health discipline from a recognised tertiary institution resulting in registration or giving eligibility for membership with the professional association OR Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven ability to organise, manage and administer significant projects to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Ability to work under broad direction in the execution and completion of tasks working with minimum supervision, applying initiative and judgement.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills including writing project plans.
  • Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
