About The Role

Make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of communities across the Limestone Coast as a Clinical Nurse – Immunisation. In this specialist role, you will lead the delivery of immunisation services across Country Health Connect, providing evidence-based care in a variety of community and healthcare settings. Working with individuals, families, schools and community groups, you will play a key role in protecting public health through the coordination, delivery and promotion of immunisation programs. This is an opportunity to combine clinical expertise, leadership and education to support positive health outcomes across the region.

About You

You are an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse or Midwife who is committed to preventative healthcare and community wellbeing. You bring strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities and a genuine passion for educating and supporting individuals, families and healthcare professionals.

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate.
• Have a minimum of three years' post-registration nursing or midwifery experience.
• Demonstrate experience and competence in immunisation nursing practice and the delivery of community-based immunisation programs.
• Possess strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
• Hold a current South Australian Driver's Licence and be willing to travel across the Limestone Coast region.

The Community Nursing team delivers high-quality, person-centred care across a range of community settings throughout the Limestone Coast. Working closely with consumers, families and multidisciplinary teams, the service promotes health, wellbeing and independence through preventative care, education and clinical support. Immunisation services play a critical role in protecting community health and improving health outcomes across the region.

Conditions of Employment

• A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
• DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Current South Australian Driver's Licence required.
• Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A.
• SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy
