About the role: 

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and consumer-centred care in alignment with the SALHN Integrated Governance Framework and Consumer Engagement Framework and Plan.
  • Oversee the daily operational management of staffing allocations and roster coordination across the Margaret Tobin Centre to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
  • Manage human, financial, and physical resources through strategic planning, workforce management, and efficient allocation to achieve divisional and service objectives.
  • Provide strong leadership to develop and sustain a positive, values-driven workplace culture that promotes patient-focused care, staff wellbeing, continuous learning, collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity.
  • Lead budget preparation, financial monitoring, reporting, and resource management to ensure accountability and adherence to allocated budgets and operational targets.
  • Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resources allocations.

About you:

  • Skill in using computers, information systems and software relevant to the area of practice.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, devise and implement creative & effective strategies with the ability to evaluate outcomes in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance a range of relevant partnerships, networks and relationships with key stakeholders within and external to the organisation and demonstrate the ability to work respectfully with consumers and their families.
  • Mental Health experience is desirable but not essential.
