Position Overview

  • Temporary Part-Time from 3 August 2026 to 31 October 2027

  • Salary: $1,419.40 - $1,445.70 per week (pro rata)

About the Role

Keith and District Healthcare is seeking a motivated and organised Client Service Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality catering, cleaning and laundry services within the residential aged care environment.

Reporting to the Executive Officer / Director of Nursing, the Client Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating operational activities and assisting catering, cleaning and laundry services staff to meet resident needs. The role works closely with staff, residents, families, suppliers and external stakeholders to ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely and in accordance with relevant quality and food safety standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational coordination and people management skills who enjoys working in a supportive rural healthcare environment focused on quality care and continuous improvement.

You are an organised and proactive leader with strong communication and coordination skills. You thrive in busy environments, enjoy leading teams and are committed to delivering high-quality support services that contribute to positive resident experiences and safe healthcare environments.

To succeed in the Client Service Coordinator role, you will:

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have experience coordinating operational services including catering, cleaning and laundry functions.
  • Demonstrate experience in rostering, workload coordination and supporting staff to work effectively as a team.
  • Show initiative and sound judgement when resolving operational issues and improving service delivery.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of workplace health and safety principles, quality improvement processes and customer service standards.

Conditions of Employment

  • A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
