Lead the Heart of Patient Care | Administration Supervisor – Outpatient Services | SALHN

Lead outpatient administration for SALHN's Adelaide Metro Southern region. Full-time contract to December 2028.  Make a real impact on patient care from the first point of contact.

About the role: 

  • Ensuring compliance with Outpatients Administration procedures and workflows. Efficient knowledge and experience of Sunrise and EMR programs.
  • Contributing to recruiting, selecting, retaining and developing staff to support the achievement of the Outpatients Support Services’ objectives.
  • Undertaking projects under the direction of the Administration Manager or Nursing Director, Outpatient Support Service.
  • Providing informed advice on strategies to ensure the effective and efficient use of administrative resources and achievement of targets.
  • Contributing to the creation, promotion and maintenance of a harmonious working environment, and encouraging others to develop and enhance their skills.
  • Patient facing experience/outpatient experience required.

About you:

  • Fostering co-operation within a team environment to garner support to achieve desired outcomes
  • Sunrise EMR experience and patient-facing outpatient background essential
  • Proven well developed communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) including:
    Effectively interacting with people from diverse backgrounds such as professional and non-professional staff, external agencies and members of the community
  • Researching / investigating, analysing information, formulating suitable solutions and preparing reports and correspondence
  • Effective problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
