About the Role:

Join the team at Riverland General Hospital as an Administration Officer and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused support to patients, visitors, and staff. Positions are available across a variety of departments, including Front Reception, Medical Records, Outpatients, and Chemotherapy, offering diverse and engaging career opportunities within the hospital.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients, staff, and community members.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, using initiative and sound judgement.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative and clerical support, including accurate data entry and document processing.
  • High-level computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office and administrative record-keeping systems, with knowledge of quality and compliance requirements.

Desired Criteria 

  • Experience in healthcare administration, particularly with medical records management in a health service environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, primary healthcare principles, and relevant government administrative procedures and legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, healthcare information systems (including Sunrise Production), and safe work practices.
