Exciting Career Opportunity: Facility & Grounds Officer

Ceduna sits on the Eyre Peninsula, 800 kilometres west of Adelaide, where the landscape is vast and the community is tight-knit. The Ceduna Multi-Purpose Service is looking for a reliable Facility and Grounds Officer to join its casual pool - keeping the site safe, functional, and well-presented so clinical teams can focus on delivering care to the region's residents.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintaining the grounds, gardens, and outdoor areas of the Ceduna MPS to a safe and presentable standard
  • Carrying out routine facility maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and general handyperson work across the site
  • Supporting waste management, cleaning of external areas, and upkeep of equipment sheds and storage
  • Responding to day-to-day facility requests from site management and escalating maintenance issues as required

What You'll Bring

  • Practical experience in grounds maintenance, facilities upkeep, or a related trade or labouring role
  • Ability to operate grounds equipment including mowers, trimmers, and basic hand tools safely
  • A current driver's licence valid in South Australia
  • An understanding of, or willingness to work within, WHS requirements in a health or community services setting
  • Self-motivation to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision
