Miroma Place Hostel is seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our team in this newly created permanent full-time position. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our residential aged care service while leading a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Working alongside the Executive Officer/Director of Nursing, you'll provide clinical leadership, mentor staff, drive continuous improvement and help create a positive and supportive environment where residents and employees thrive.

Miroma Place Hostel is a 14-bed residential aged care facility providing compassionate, person-centred care to older members of our community. Our boutique size allows us to truly know our residents and their families, creating meaningful connections and continuity of care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a dedicated nursing and care team to deliver safe, high-quality person-centred care.
  • Provide clinical leadership while supporting day-to-day operations including staffing, rostering and service coordination.
  • Champion evidence-based practice, quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning across the team.
  • Mentor and develop staff, students and emerging nurses to build capability and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible care outcomes.
