Allied Health Assistant – Noarlunga Health Service

Join our team and play a vital role in supporting consumers throughout their mental health recovery journey. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will assist with admission and discharge planning, coordinate practical and financial support, help consumers access suitable accommodation, maintain accurate records, and liaise with community organisations to ensure ongoing support and positive outcomes.

This rewarding role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to helping people navigate challenges and connect with essential services.

About you:

  • Experience supporting people with mental health challenges, disability, and psychosocial barriers, with a strong commitment to recovery oriented and person centred care
  • Ability to facilitate therapeutic groups and support Occupational Therapy and Social Work interventions that promote consumer wellbeing, participation, and recovery
  • Well developed communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with consumers, families, carers, and members of the multidisciplinary team
  • A relevant Allied Health Assistant qualification, together with the ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds and across community service networks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic data systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
