Are you an experienced hospitality or catering professional looking for a leadership opportunity in a welcoming rural health environment? The Burra Health Service is seeking a motivated and organised Services Team Leader to join our team.

In this role, you will oversee the production and distribution of food services and coordinate catering, cleaning, linen, and laundry operations. You’ll ensure that all services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to high quality standards, while guiding and supporting your team to achieve excellence in their work.

As Team Leader, you’ll play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, residents, and staff. You may also be required to perform the duties of Cook as needed.

About You:

  • Trade qualifications or equivalent skills as a Cook
  • Proven experience supervising catering, cleaning, linen, and laundry staff
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and service
  • Ability to work flexibly across different settings and lead by example
