About the Role

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with myeloma. As the Myeloma Nurse Consultant, you’ll lead specialised care, build strong partnerships across the health system, and shape best-practice services that support exceptional patient outcomes. Working with a high level of autonomy, you’ll provide expert clinical guidance while driving innovation and excellence in myeloma care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert, evidence-based myeloma care across the patient journey
• Lead clinical practice and support high-quality nursing care
• Coordinate care pathways to improve patient outcomes and experience
• Build strong partnerships with multidisciplinary teams and external providers
• Guide and support nurses through expert advice and clinical leadership
• Develop and implement initiatives that enhance myeloma services
• Drive projects and programs that improve care delivery and outcomes
• Foster links with community services, support organisations and health networks
• Monitor practice standards and address gaps between policy and practice
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation in myeloma care

About You

You are an experienced and compassionate nursing professional who thrives in a leadership role. With strong clinical expertise, a collaborative approach and a passion for improving patient outcomes, you'll bring the skills and knowledge needed to make a real impact in myeloma care.

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in specialised cancer or haematology care
• Lead teams, influence change and build capability
• Communicate, negotiate and collaborate with confidence
• Apply clinical standards to deliver safe, quality care
