About the role

Join SA Pharmacy as a Senior Pharmacist within the Emergency Department at Flinders Medical Centre.  Here, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred pharmacy services  in an acute Emergency setting. You will work with a team of dedicated clinical pharmacists at SALHN, with opportunities to learn and finesse your Emergency Medicine knowledge and skills.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will provide expert clinical advice, medicines information and therapeutic guidance to patients, medical staff and multidisciplinary teams while supporting the safe, effective and cost-conscious use of medicines. You will oversee the operation of a designated pharmacy area and contribute to the delivery of contemporary pharmacy services that optimise patient outcomes.

This rewarding role combines advanced clinical practice with leadership, service development and quality improvement. You will support and mentor pharmacy staff, contribute to strategic initiatives and help drive innovations that enhance service delivery and medication management. Working collaboratively across the health service, you will influence best practice, support multidisciplinary care and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced pharmacy professional who combines strong clinical expertise with a passion for leadership, service improvement and delivering exceptional patient care.

• Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Board registration

• Extensive hospital pharmacy and clinical service experience

• Lead teams and drive service improvement initiatives

• Mentor, educate and support pharmacy staff and students

• Apply sound judgement, analysis and problem-solving skills
