About the role

Join SA Medical Imaging as an Unaccredited Radiology Registrar and build a strong foundation for a future career in Radiology within a supportive and collaborative environment. Based at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (a RANZCR-accredited training site), you will work under Consultant Radiologist supervision while gaining valuable exposure to a diverse range of imaging modalities, procedures and pathology. This role is designed to help you develop the clinical knowledge, procedural skills, research experience and professional capabilities needed to progress within the specialty.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary clinical and academic team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical imaging services, patient care, teaching and research activities. You'll benefit from a positive workplace culture, regular rostered hours across a 7-day roster and the opportunity to broaden your experience across SAMI sites while working alongside experienced radiologists and healthcare professionals committed to your development.

About You

You are a motivated Medical Practitioner with a strong interest in Radiology and a commitment to developing your clinical expertise within a supportive learning environment.

• MBBS or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner

• Completed at least four years postgraduate experience (including Intern year) and at least two years Diagnostic Radiology training

• Deliver excellent patient care and clinical judgement

• Work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Commit to learning, research and quality improvement
