About the role

Join our Biochemistry laboratory team as a Technical Officer (Night Shift) and play an important role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services outside standard business hours. You'll apply your technical expertise and judgement to support laboratory operations, ensure timely processing of specimens and contribute to safe, efficient and accurate diagnostic outcomes that support patient care. This position will attract 30% Night Shift Loading. 

Working in a collaborative night shift environment, you'll supervise and support team members, assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving, and provide technical advice on laboratory equipment, procedures and processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory professional who enjoys working independently while contributing to a high-performing team.

About You

You are an experienced technical professional who thrives in a laboratory environment and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver high-quality results.

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline
• Experience in a diagnostic laboratory environment
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of quality systems and laboratory best practice
