About This Role

As a Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, nutritious and high-quality meals while supporting the smooth operation of our healthcare food service.

Working closely with the Catering and Utilities Team Leader and multidisciplinary team, you'll help ensure meals meet dietary requirements, maintain food safety standards and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare, cook and distribute meals to quality standards
  • Support dietary, nutritional and special meal requirements
  • Manage food orders, stock control and kitchen coordination
  • Operate kitchen equipment and maintain food safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with care teams to deliver excellent service

About You

You are a reliable and adaptable hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering quality food services within a healthcare environment. With a strong focus on teamwork, client care and professionalism, you can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of communication, confidentiality and service delivery.

You will bring:

  • Experience preparing bulk meals and catering for dietary needs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within diverse teams
  • Confidence using computer systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexibly, use initiative and meet deadlines
  • Professional judgement, discretion and a collaborative approach
