WHAT ARE WE OFFERING? 

The Senior Medical Services Support Officer role oversees and supports a team of Medical Services Liaison Officers to deliver efficient, high-quality administrative and coordination services across medical departments. You will provide clear direction, mentoring and development to ensure alignment with organisational priorities, while managing key functions including rostering, timesheets, credentialing, recruitment and onboarding of Medical Officers. The role also leads the preparation of accurate, confidential correspondence and reporting, and promotes effective communication and stakeholder engagement. 

You will drive service improvement by monitoring performance, streamlining processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practice. Working closely with clinical leadership, you will support workforce planning, locum coordination, visa processes, and mandatory training compliance, while contributing to operational planning and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen team capability, foster a positive culture, and enhance the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred medical services.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Lead and support Medical Services Liaison Officers to deliver efficient, high-quality administrative and coordination services.
  • Oversee rostering, timesheet management, credentialing, and onboarding processes for Medical Officers.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including locum engagement, contracts, and workforce planning support. 
  • Monitor performance, ensure compliance with policies and standards, and drive process improvements. 
  • Support clinical leadership with reporting, operational planning, and the delivery of safe, patient-centred services.
