About the Role

Step into a key leadership role where you guide care, support teams and keep the ward running smoothly. You’ll manage daily operations, build capable staff and create consistency that delivers safe, high quality patient care.

Duties
• Lead and support nurses across the ward
• Promote consistent, person centred care
• Support practice change and service improvement
• Manage rosters, staffing, leave and work flow
• Guide performance, recruitment and staff growth
• Monitor supplies, budgets and daily operations

About You

You’re a confident and supportive nurse ready to step into leadership and help teams deliver safe, consistent care in a busy ward setting.

• Registered or eligible Nurse with NMBA practising certificate
• Apply strong clinical skills within acute or complex care
• Support, guide and supervise developing nursing staff
• Communicate clearly and work well with multidisciplinary teams
• Prioritise work, solve issues and adapt to change confidently
