Join Ward 6D as an Administration Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of a busy hospital environment. Working closely with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams, you will coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges, maintain accurate patient information within the Sunrise EMR PAS system, and help ensure seamless patient flow across the service. This autonomous and rewarding role requires initiative, sound judgement and strong communication skills to effectively liaise with nursing staff, bed managers and other clinical areas. About you:

  • Previous experience as a Ward Administration Assistant/Admin Assistant
  • Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience working with distressed patients/carers with empathy
  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentially in matters relating to patient information
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
