What You'll Be Doing

Working across Port Lincoln Hospital as part of the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, you'll keep essential services moving so that clinical teams can focus on patient care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Transporting patients safely and respectfully within the hospital
  • Collecting, delivering, and returning equipment to the correct areas
  • Transporting pathology and other specimens in line with handling protocols
  • Managing the delivery of clean linen and timely removal of soiled linen and waste

What You'll Bring

  • A reliable, punctual approach and the physical capacity to perform manual handling tasks throughout a full shift
  • Clear, respectful communication with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
  • An understanding of, or willingness to learn, infection control and safe waste-handling procedures as required within SA Health facilities
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks calmly in a busy hospital environment
