About the Role:

Join our team as a Security/Orderly Officer and play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and caring healthcare environment. This rewarding position combines security, patient support, and teamwork, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by assisting patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to a positive and therapeutic hospital experience.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria 

  • Current South Australian Security Agent Licence.
  • Demonstrated security experience, including managing and de-escalating aggressive or challenging behaviours.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse people and within a team.
  • Ability to work independently, use sound judgement, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety, risk management, customer service principles, and proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Desired Criteria 

  • Current First Aid Certificate and/or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
  • Training in managing challenging behaviours, mental illness, or personality disorders.
  • Experience in healthcare security and demonstrated manual handling skills.
