Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services of the highest standard, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
- Participate in on call roster as required
- Adhere to Regional, Hospital, and departmental policies and the professional standards set by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
- Actively engage in teaching and mentoring of trainee medical officers, interns, medical students, and where appropriate, nursing and allied health staff.
- Participate in clinical audit and quality management activities, focusing on safety and risk management.
- Contribute to research and continuous medical education activities.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registerable with the Medical Board of Australia as Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration. Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent, with appropriate Specialist Qualifications.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in contemporary anaesthetic practice, reflecting a deep understanding of modern techniques and procedures.
- Skills: Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities at both clinical and individual levels. Strong commitment to quality management, effective communication, and adaptability to change.
- Commitment: A dedication to clinical excellence, education, and ongoing professional development.
