About the Role:
Modbury Hospital and the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) are looking for a skilled Podiatrist to join their allied health team on a part-time basis. If you're ready to apply your clinical expertise in a supportive public health setting that genuinely prioritises patient outcomes, this contract role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people across Adelaide's northern communities. This position is offered as a short-term contract through to 31 January 2027.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality podiatry assessment, treatment, and management for a diverse patient caseload across the Modbury Hospital service
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary allied health team to support integrated, patient-centred care plans
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with SA Health standards and policies
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives and supporting continuity of care across the NALHN network
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience delivering clinical podiatry services, ideally within a hospital or community health setting
- Confident working across a varied caseload including high-risk foot care, wound management, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Sound understanding of SA Health clinical governance frameworks and patient safety standards
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current National Police Clearance and relevant immunisation compliance as required by SA Health
To be eligible for this position, you must have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
